Healing India
Our team frequently visits urban and rural areas of the city to organize awareness and medical camps. During our campaigns in 2017, we realized that the health of students studying in the government primary school in both semi-urban and rural areas was not very good. Many of these kids, between the ages of 5-12 years, were suffering from frequent pain in head, stomach and legs and from lack of energy. In fact, the health of kids from schools located in semi-urban areas was worse than that of in the rural areas. Our team decided to work on the issue.

Today's children are the citizens of tomorrow's nation. Their survival, protection and development are, therefore, the prerequisite for the future development of this country. Empowerment of the younger generation with knowledge and resources to meet their basic human needs and enable them to grow to their full potential should be a primary goal of national development. As their individual development and social contribution will shape the future of the country, investment in children's health, nutrition and education is the vital foundation for national development.
It is evident that good health improves learning potentials, so for students to be able to attend school regularly and take full advantage of opportunities provided by schools, they must be in a state of health that enables them to do so. Also, the improvement of the ability to learn and the performance at school requires school-based effort to improve health.

So, in 2018, after getting all the permissions and help from the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Bareilly district, our team launched a new campaign “Healing India.” Under this program, our health experts visited each and every government primary school located in the most urban to the most interior villages of Bareilly and provided free health checkup to children from 5-12 years. In around 10 months, we provided free medication and health supplements to more than 8000 children. On analyzing the reports, most of these children were suffering from fatigue, frequent headaches and weakness. Our team provided them glucose, and iron and protein supplements.
